No API key to copy for this path — ChatGPT connects by signing in, the same way you'd sign into the dashboard. Free plan is 25 credits/month, no card required.

2Add the connector in ChatGPT

Requires a Plus, Pro, Business, or Enterprise account — connectors are behind ChatGPT's Developer Mode, which isn't available on the free tier.

In ChatGPT: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode
Settings → Connectors → Create

Fill in:

Save it. The first time you actually use it, ChatGPT opens a sign-in tab — sign in (or you'll already be signed in from Step 1) and click Allow

There's no field for a pasted API key here on purpose — ChatGPT's connector dialog only supports OAuth or no authentication at all, so Enrichr's ChatGPT connection runs on the same sign-in as the dashboard rather than a key you copy around. If you're scripting against the MCP endpoint directly instead of going through ChatGPT's UI, use an API key and the Claude/raw-HTTP guide instead — both paths bill the same account.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Fix
No "Connectors" option in Settings	Needs Plus, Pro, Business, or Enterprise — and Developer mode turned on under Advanced settings first
"Connector is not safe" or similar warning	Double-check the URL is exactly `https://chatgpt.enrichr.dev/mcp` — a trailing slash or the bare domain (no `/mcp`) will fail this check
Sign-in tab shows "This connection has been revoked"	You (or an admin) disconnected this app from your account page's Connected Apps card — add the connector again
"This access token has expired"	Normal after about an hour of inactivity — ChatGPT refreshes it automatically on the next call; if it doesn't, remove and re-add the connector
Monthly credit limit reached	The error names your plan and usage; upgrade or wait for the reset — same balance as the Claude/API-key side
Request timeout	Heavy WebGL sites can take 30-60s. Retry, or use a focused tool

FAQ

Is my data stored?
Extraction results are not persisted. We record which tool you called, when, and the URL — that is what meters your credits. Page content is not retained.

Does this use the same credits as the Claude version?
Yes — one account, one credit balance, whichever client you connect with. Buying a plan or a credit pack on either site applies everywhere.

Can multiple people use this from one ChatGPT workspace?
Each connection is tied to the Enrichr account that approved it during sign-in, the same as a personal API key — it isn't a shared team credential. Disconnect it any time from your account page.

Why did an extraction cost more than I expected?
Cost is per tool, not per page. rebuild_brief holds a browser for far longer than a token read, so it costs 5. The table above lists every price.
